Cilon is an independent musician from Zurich. He started his career doing reinterpretations of old songs. An approach that received a lot of price. Cilon managed to build himself an audience very quickly, with non of his re-works receiving less than 10,000 streams on Soundcloud. 5 years have passed since than & he turned into a very sophisticated figure in this hiphop, R&B, jazz and soulful driven niche. With his newest releases he has proven that he is also a great producer of original work. The latest song ‘Gettupp’ on the Future8000 Compilation is a beautifully composed piece with various elements of soul, jazz and funk.
We look forward to his solo performance on the 29th of September.
Andryy brings the new Swiss dialect. Since he noticed that all his idols sing in their mother tongue, he wondered why he hasn’t been doing it that way since the beginning. The obvious answer: Dialect, to be frank, is a bitch. In English everything sounds good, everything is possible (nobody really understands it anyway), and in Swiss German, on the other hand, everything is either Cheesy or funny, the rhymes seem trashy. No question how one decides as a considerate young musician. Andryy kept at it and proves that Mundart dialect can sound just as great as english. He is one of the most promising newcomers to the Swiss dialect scene.
After the release of his first single it went steeply upwards. All singles are running successfully on the radio and also live, and the young Winterthurer would have had a lot to show. M4Music, Andermatt Live, Stars in Town, Winterthur Music Festival Weeks and much more … If it wasn’t for a certain virus that turned all plans on the head. T herefore it is gratifying that the “old” Stars of Mundart also rely on Andryy. In autumn he will be opening for Ritschi and Adrian Stern.
